Swing into Action Golf Tournament

We invite you to join us in showing our clients that they are valued and appreciated by a compassionate community. 

The inaugural Swing Into Action Golf Tournament will bring together 144 players, sponsors, local businesses, and supporters at the beautiful Silver Oak Golf Club in the foothills of Carson City. It will be an exciting day of golf, competition and prizes, raffle, lunch, and comradery and connection to round out an amazing day. All proceeds will help us provide exceptional care and support to children and adults - the youngest 5-years-old - with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

For nearly 80 years, Eagle Valley Children's Home has been a beacon of hope, strength and optimism for families in the Reno-Carson Valley. We operate the only intermediate care facility in Northern Nevada and provide over 10,000 hours of respite care every year to families in the Reno-Carson Valley who care for disabled loved ones in their own homes. 

Established in 1946, Eagle Valley Children's Home is a recognized 501 (c)(3) nonprofit located in the scenic foothills of Carson City, Nevada. We provide exceptional care to people with chronic and severe disabilities and health conditions as well as support for families that struggle with the pysical and emotional demands that come with continuous 24/7 care of disabled loved ones.

Registration

Swing Into Action Golf Tournament marks the first community fundraising event for Eagle Valley Children's Home in nearly 80 years and golfers at all skill levels are warmly invited to participate and make a difference. Board Chair and retired business leader, Jerry Gregory shared, "The charity golf tournament not only promises a day of friendly competition and fun but also serves as a vital fundraising effort to ensure the continuation of Eagle Valley Children's Home services. We are thankful for the overwhelming support from our sponsors and local businesses who stepped forward to make this event possible."

Registration is $150 pp and $500 for a team of four and includes green fees & cart, light breakfast, goody bag, contests & prizes, and sit down lunch/19th Hole Celebration.

Contests and Prizes

We have several Challenge Holes for a chance to win great prizes including Longest Drive, Closest to Pin, and a fun and challenging Putting Contest. A hole-in-one on any hole wins a $500 cash prize! We will award a special gift to the first place team of our 1st Annual Swing into Action Golf Tourament so come out and help bring this event to life!

Raffles

We have an exciting General Raffle and a chance to win great prizes donated by our geneours community including a Yeti Cooler from Ace Hardware, a gas grill donated by Western Nevada Supply, a 1-night stay and dining at Harrah's Tahoe, and much more. And if that does'nt get you excited, how about some serious cash? You can try your luck in our 50/50 raffle where the winner wins 50% of the jackpot.
